The editing of the documentary film Palazzo Luce by the director Alessandra Galletta, shot during the course of 2021, is now being completed. The film narrates the genesis of the project, how Annamaria Anselmi fell in love with the historic palace, the gradual formulation of the basic idea, and then the gradual arrival of the artistic “nourishment” that has literally inundated the halls, terraces and private rooms. The scenes of the film reveal the spaces and their new “inhabitants” – artistic masterpieces – narrating the transformation in the words of its protagonists, the gallerists, artists and designers who have responded to the call: from David Tremlett to Lia Rumma, Nina Yashar to Antonio Marras, Gian Maria Tosatti to Martino Gamper, just to mention a few. Alessandra Galletta, who studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, has an original profile: she mixes the perspective of cinema with that of an art critic. She has made monographic films about Adrian Paci, Ettore Spalletti and Francesco Vezzoli.
